New product launch
Chocoholics Club is a monthly mail order subscription box service delivering a selection of handpicked chocolates to their members. The company had developed new range of dark chocolate selections designed to appeal to health conscious consumers. As part of the marketing campaign for the new range they published a series of blog posts promoting the health benefits of dark chocolate.
Understanding: The science behind superfoods
Chocoholics Club had a clearly defined persona for this new selection of dark chocolates. The product had been designed to appeal to individuals with a keen interest in health, fitness and wellbeing. People who want to nurture their body and mind and understand the science behind superfood claims.
Writing: Being authentic
The blog posts needed to be authentic. Chocoholics Club didn't want to pretend to be something they're not, health experts. I carried out desk research in to a range of scientific studies on the health benefits of dark chocolate. I wrote a series of optimised blog posts drawing on a range of scientific studies about eating dark chocolate with a high cacao content.
